Sprites
As the last sprite-based Final Fantasy (aside from Tactics), FFVI had the best of all of them. The sprites were more detailed and had more emotion than all of those that had come before. (Even if they do have a few continuity issues...)
Animated Kefka sprites can be found here — I've been unable to find any smaller animated ones, unfortunately.
